Why is our purge compound not moving at all?

Check the recommended temperatures provided on the purge material packaging. There are both high and low-temperature purge materials, and using the wrong temperature can cause issues. If the heat zones are too hot, the material may melt too early in the chamber or screw, preventing it from moving down the barrel. On the other hand, if the heat zones are too cold, the purge material won’t extrude properly. Always ensure that the purge temperature is aligned with the extruder temperature to maintain optimal performance and material flow.
