What are the steps in the compounding process?

If you are starting from recycled materials:

1.) Turn plastic into granulated pellets using the Reclaimer

2.) Mix plastic regrind as uniformly as possible by hand

3.) Process the material with our EX6 extruder with a mixing screw, then cool with Airpath

4.) Filament feeds into the Pelletizer right from Airpath

5.) New compounded pellets are processed again with EX6, mixing screw, Airpath, and Spooler to increase the quality and uniformity of the filament

If you are staring from virgin pellets, then start at step 3.
